I am hyper excited for the Mamiya C33 with 80/2.8 that I got today! It is a true beauty and only chores prevented me from finishing the first roll this afternoon. It's missing the lens cap, so if you have any extra laying around give me a shout. Number 14 in the list of cameras is taken now.
...and couple of images from the recent Holga roll:

Back to work tomorrow... daydreaming starts all over again.
It's mine!
Lubitel candids
Roll films are finally developed and I will start with two candids from Boyana Church... rather strange ones I might add. Couple of old women sunbathing next to this World Heritage monument and an Asian dude who seemed lost in his travel guide.

Thief
Three stolen shots from this Saturday. Critique and comments are more than welcome.

Today I get my sixth daily deviation at dA. I think they have totally lost the concept behind that feature. They keep choosing works with comments in the hundreds and views in the thousands... submitted two years ago. Ridiculous.
Innie and Outie
Looking back at week 11 we realize how much we've grown... from an innie to an outie in four months. :)
30 weeks - Under My Skin
I've got you under my skin
I've got you deep in the heart of me
So deep in my heart, that you're really a part of me
I've got you under my skin

Today we shot several ideas, this being my favorite... especially the Polaroid version which came out with amazing blues. More from the 30th week maternity shoot coming up soon. And yeah Frank is the man!
Three year old chair
I have a Holga roll and another one from yesterday shot with the Lubitel that I am yet to drop off for developing. This is the part I hate most. Not being able to develop myself. Blah. Anyway I am looking forward to seeing the results as I have not shot with those two cameras for awhile. Maya was the digital photographer yesterday and I am so very proud to see her enjoy it and think out the shots. Here are a couple done by her - Martin and The Tree

Today I opened up an old back up CD and saw this picture of a chair that it turns out I took three years ago on June 17th. It was one of two in a diptych titled "how to disappear completely". It got me thinking about all the things that have happened since then...
...and yet it is only a bloody picture of a chair.
The light we see...
It is round three in the photo challenge with wonderful miss Black over at The Hideout and my turn to start the visual sentence she gets to complete... and it starts "The light we see...".
This was lit with two mobile phones.
Polaroid timestamp
This is us on May 22nd 2009. We have been using polas to create timestamps of certain dates and events... a way to acknowledge and remember the emotions we've gone through.
Poll Results
It turns out you want me to shoot black and white (11), conceptual (9) portraits (10) on film (8) titled "Ted, I'm going mad!" (4)... I wonder how would that look. I might give it a shot. I am just a bit hesitant about the title. :D
more photos tomorrow. I promise.
Moth orchid
I certainly have a thing about black and white photographs of flowers. The way form is examined beyond the excitement of color can get me to stare at such images for the longest time. I also love taking flower shots although I do it rarely. I guess it has to be the right flower... and today it was. It is our new Moth Orchid, my newest model.
TFP/TFCD
...means basically time for prints or time for CD. It is a bargain where the photographer's work in the form of prints or quality images on CD pays for the model's time and vice versa. Here is the Wikipedia article which while making things too complicated for what I have in mind, brings to the table some points to consider. A good read if the concept is something you are not familiar with. Anyway what I am getting at is that I am trying to push myself to explore further and photograph people outside the immediate family. So if you like my work drop me a line and we'll figure something out. Bottom line would be you get pictures, I get new work, all drink beer and smile. :)
Too bold of an idea for my level of experience? O_o
